Mountain Parks Foundation organizes this shindig on Father’s Day at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. Here’s the scoop:
A fun-filled weekend is in store as we celebrate Father’s Day Weekend. Events include classic cars, arts and crafts booths, food booths, live music, magic shows, hay rides great Jazz bands and more..
Also see the crazy train garden railroad, green info booths, fun games and contests like hula-hoops-n-hats, crazy hat contests for people and dogs, children’s activities, prizes and more.
We will also highlight our park’s history and its unique cultural role in the Santa Cruz County in the past. Admission FREE – parking $7 or $6 for seniors. Event is free, parking is $7.00 or $6.00 for seniors.
The flier says it’s happening June 20 and 21, but the announcement at the Mountain Parks Foundation site says June 20. Hmm.
Any excuse to wear crazy hats should be exploited as far as I’m concerned.
