I stopped by the Web site this morning for a few minutes, noticed a North Bay trail on the blog and somebody’s Redwoods road trip, and wondered if I should spring for the mag.
Your thoughts welcome.

I first picked a copy up at OR last summer, but before I read it I got to See Greg and Deia, the couple on the cover speak, when I read their story on the way home I fell in love with the magazine. It has no product reviews, no hype, real stories from real people.
Thanks for the kind words, Nicole.
Tom, I work as an editor at Wend so I’d love to see you subscribe. A good way to try the magazine out on the cheap is to subscribe to our digital edition for $5. It’s not as nice as having the real thing sitting on your coffee table, but it’s a good way to become familiar with what we’re trying to do. The actual magazine is published on locally-sourced FSC-certified paper using all soy-based inks, so the product kind of goes along with our belief that people who love the outdoors should be active in trying to protect it as well.
Glad you are interested in the magazine. Feel free to shoot me an email if you have any specific questions, and keep up the good work on your site.
