And just for fun I have no hikes to my credit (who knew you could have so much crap in one little apartment and that moving it across the street could consume an entire weekend??)
Final blessing of moving heck is that AT&T can’t seem to find where we live now and get us our Internet turned on. I’m posting now from a gacky shared computer but I’d rather walk barefoot over glowing steel spikes than blog from this thing.
Hopefully all goodness will be restored soon.
Typical ATT problem! Same thing happened during my recent move – and now service is such that I often have to reboot to get back connected!
When you hike with us again, I’ll tell you all about the unbelievably moronic behavior ATT displayed with me that caused me to cancel my DSL of over a decade and switch to COMCAST cable, including how I got rid of my need for static IPs. As a preview, here is my impression of ATT DSL support.
“Uhm, could you restart your computer?”
“My computer isn’t hooked up to the modem.”
“Uhm, but we found that sometimes restarting the computer fixes the problem, uhm, could you restart your computer?”
“There is no computer hooked up to your equipment, nothing to restart, no I won’t restart the computer that isn’t hooked up to your equipment”.
“Uhm, we need you to restart your computer.”
