Carol came back with some great pictures. She was one of the folks who camped out with 4WheelBob and a bunch of us at Carrizo Plain last spring.

Sad to say I didn’t get any hikes in this weekend … had to do a last-minute free-lance job for the Merc’s travel section (yeah, I did it for the money). Upside is I get next Sunday’s travel cover centerpiece. More on that to come.
