Alas, no hikes to report this weekend … a traveling cold bug has come through and is currently filling my head with phlegm.
Please enjoy your holidays and spend some happy times in the company of your favorite people. And grin and bear it the rest of the time.
Happy Holidays Tom.
I’m going to be off work most of January and plan on doing a ton of hiking. Let me know if you (or anyone else for that matter) is interested in an outing or two.

Tom, I hope your feeling better soon. Colds are never fun, as I once described, “a virus has been mucking with my DNA, trying to turn me into a slug. I have been reduced to oozing around the house leaving a trail of mucous and wadded squares of white tissue.”
Today, I am just trying to recover from my Pinnacles hike on Saturday, that left me with a sore back from lugging my camera and binoculars up and down the high peaks trail.
I am up for a hike any time and want to get more in next year.

Was there water in Chalone Creek when you were there? I was thinking of doing the Northern Wilderness Loop on New Years Day but don’t wont bother if the creek is high.
(And I had that cold shortly after Thanksgiving, was a snot machine for over a week)
Get well soon Tom. Hope you had a good Christmas anyway.
Fantastic sunset up on skyline this evening, but alas, no camera.
Thanks for making this one of the most memorable of my life, TM! Hope your Christmas went as perfect as possible.
Feel better, and we’ll talk Mt. Williamson…soon.
