It’s a group blog with several authors — the header says “Fishing Biking Running Paddling,” which tells us either a) they think hiking happens indoors; or b) Two-Heel Drive explicitly exposes the pitfalls of blogging about hiking; or c) some other explanation I’m too lazy to think of at the moment. Worthy addition to your RSS list, in any case.
It’s simple — hiking simply isn’t extreme enough (assuming you don’t get lost, fall off a cliff, have to cut off a hand, or get attacked by a cougar).
I’m officially urging you to be the first to fire up an “extreme hiking” blog, replete with daring (if stupid) stunts and your own blaring sound track.
I’m just trying to help here.
Hi there,
Thanks for the link! Actually, the header is set to rotate daily, so the word ‘hiking’ gets in there every so often (we just didn’t have room for all the activities we want to cover).
Take care,
