Here’s a link that just came in over the transom: www.trailspotting.com … which aspires to be a compendium of trail info for Northern California. As of this moment there’s only a pair of hikes posted, but they do describe places I’ve yet to hike.
The site’s creator has a flickr site with tons of local pics.
UPDATE: for those who clicked earlier and got the wrong site, the link requires the www, which I’ve added to the url. And props to alert hiker Ann for pointing out the boo-boo.
i don’t see any trails on that website you linked? Is the website correct?
Hi Tom! Thanks for name-checking my new website and for introducing me to your great blog. I’m looking forward to delving into it in some depth, to see what new hikes I can discover through your pages.
In response to Ann’s comment, the full URL is http://www.trailspotting.com.
Please check back soon – tonight I’ll be adding a hike we did at the weekend, plus I’m aiming to add one new hike every day for the next week or so.
Stuart: congrats on starting the site; you’ve got your work cut out — it took me three years to assemble all the hikes I’ve got here, and there are miles and miles yet to be hiked at http://www.bahiker.com
