Remember how I was lavishing praise on VirtualParks.org the other day? Well, just now I did some poking around at the non-local sites I used to watch every day and found that since early July, at least three other blogs have linked to the same site. Until a moment ago I hadn’t seen any of these links.
I’m bringing this up mostly because my post gives the impression I just glommed the link from somebody else’s blog and didn’t bother credit the source — something that is just not done in blogging circles (mind you, regular hygiene is just not done either).
Where the link appeared:
- July 9: The Piton
- Later July 9: The Goat.
- July 18: Scoutmaster.
I’m quite sure the hardworking Erik, who painstakingly created all those virtual park panos, is happy with the 12 visits to his site this blogosphere hoopla generated.
I suspect all you copycat bloggers likely (subconsciously) got the tip from besthike.com on May 18th:
