Two-Heel Drive is the San Francisco Bay Area’s only blog devoted solely to local outdoor recreation opportunities. It’s updated every Monday with a new photo essay, and posts updates with news, commentary and links throughout the week.
Content here focuses primarily on hiking in parks and open space preserves in the region. My readership is modest at the moment — about 10,000 page views a month — but that’s bound to change as more folks become aware of the blog and make it a part of their online reading habit. A month of prime placement at Two-Heel Drive can be had for the cost of one good restaurant meal, a bargain that won’t last as my readership grows.
My readers are affluent, tech-savvy types who buy lots of gear. Shoes, tents, sleeping bags, camp stoves, backpacks, coats, pants … pretty much the whole gamut of outdoor equipment. They also buy cameras, binoculars, GPS units, maps and guidebooks. Many are also into biking, kayaking, climbing and mountaineering. They are also deeply interested in environmental causes.
If you’d like to get your message to my kind of readers, drop me a line at twoheeldrive@gmail.com and we can discuss making it happen.
