I’ve happened across a couple blogs worthy of note.
Houston Guy is a blogger who likes hiking and motorcycle touring; on really good days, he combines both (which saves wear and tear on the ol’ feet, though can get ugly if the bike gets kickstand-deep in the mud).
Constanttrek is a blog by a woman who’s been trekking across the Sahara Desert for the past several weeks. Her writing is laced with cool details about the people she meets and travels with. It’s nice to read about meeting Muslims who are warm, generous, kind and fun to be around. Not much news of this kind makes it through the daily carnage reports.
Hey Tom!
The Battle of the Blogs has begun!
Be sure to Vote for your blog (or whichever you wish), and ask your readers to do the same.
We’ve chosen the very best ones out there, and yours is definately worthy- so get your Blog noticed and get some votes!

OK, so I went over there and voted for myself but then I started clicking on other people’s blogs & wondered if maybe I should’ve voted for them instead.
You are much too humble tom.
You do great work here- keep it up!
