I’ve been dragging my feet in getting in the podcasting craze, but I finally got a taste of it at trailcast.org, a site with podcasts that interview notable hikers. The most recent one is with Andrew Skurka, who hiked for over 7,000 miles around the United States in 399 days. Skurka was already a longdistance runner, which gave him the stamina to log 30-40 mile days, and to snowshoe across 1400 miles of trails in the northern states. More on Skurka’s adventures at his website.
There haven’t been any updates to trailcast since late August, and it’s easy to guess why: the site’s owner lives in Louisiana and probably has more pressing things to worry about.
