You’ll have to be up just past the crack of dawn to get there on time. I’ve decided to go ahead and bag the peak so it’ll stop whispering “climb me” every time I go south on Highway 101. (What, hills don’t speak to you? You definitely need better meds).
All the essential details are in this post from last month.
Coolness. How are we going to spot you? My 2 friends & I will be there bright & early. Heard David is going to hike it too. We’ll be sure to look for you & say Hi!
I’ll probably show up looking about like I do in the picture … floppy hat, beard, ray-bans; my car is a silver and blue Honda Element.
Count me in, Tom! Perhaps we can hook up for a carpool.
Strongly considering it – we definitely don’t want to drive far for a hike this weekend after driving to both Lava beds and the Grand Canyon within the past two weeks. This certainly qualifies.
Russ: 10-4 on carpooling.
Rebecca: it’s only a mile and a half up there, though yer guy will definitely appreciate the fact that there’s not a zigzag to be had.
Saturday’s actually a work day for me, but I can get this hike in well before I need to report to the newsroom.
