I have a five-day weekend and plan to pretend every day is Saturday till next Tuesday, so blogging will be light until then.

It so happens, though, that a couple people e-mailed me with links to their sites yesterday that should keep some of y’all busy for awhile.

Carolyn Jourdan has created the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Blog, which is replete with engaging and amusing tales of her experience returning to hiking after a 30-year break. Looks like a valuable blogroll addition.

Paul Lander works with a new outdoors site called Nomadik.com, which, as required, has a blog section that looks promising.
