Anthony D’Costa is the deputy managing editor with India Abroad, a weekly for people from India who live in the United States.
His Danto News blog is just getting started so it has some rough edges, but he’s already taking sloppy writers to task, so he’s off to a good start.
India-related aside: I’ve often wondered what people in, say, Madras thought the first time they saw an American cowboy movie. I picture somebody shouting: “Wait a minute, those people aren’t Indians. We’re the Indians, dammit.”
Seems like after 500 years we could get around to correcting the error of Christopher Columbus.
