I got your 2 percent right here buddy

Rhetorica points to a guy’s suggestion that 2 percent of the front page be set aside for stuff that builds civil society & such. Let’s do the math: A full-size newspaper page is 21.5 inches tall; six columns is 129 inches; 2 percent of that is 2.6 inches. And how on earth are the citizens of Planet Earth supposed to find that 2.6 inches amid the 93 refers, 27 subheads, 42 decks, 13 infographics and 9 headlines on the typical newspaper front page? I’m just asking.
