New ACES conference sked posted

Now I’m up against four other spearkers on the first morning.


So far I have the longest title: “The Future Doesn’t Need Us: Web Logs and the End of Editing as We’ve Known it.” See, blogging causes a tendency to run on at the keyboard. I’ve got enough remarks to fill about a half-hour of my alotted 90 minutes and six weeks to come up with the rest.

    Yes, but yours is the first listed. At 9:30 a.m., nightside copy editors’ eyes won’t get farther down the page.

    I guess I could always move you to 9:30 on Saturday morning.

    John: No need to shift the sked… I fully plan to be hung over Saturday morning; and all fretting aside, I much prefer having mine done first thing. So Thursday morning’s fine. And as Blanchard noted, at least I’m not up against Walsh.
